Student Saul Gonzales and Professor Scott Myers Lipton talk about the Raise the Wage campaign in the Democratic TV of Santa Clara. This was at the rise of the campaign in March. They address the grassroot organizing campaign they’ve begun talking about the 30 thousand signatures they needed to put the proposition on the ballots, which they now will have. The proposition is a progressive attempt to move forward the minimum wage for San Jose residents and to decrease the economic gap.
