Vote November 6th!

Why WE are for the RAISE?
Cindy Chavez clearly shows why. She states:
-Low-wage workers would have an easier life affording food and other basic living necessities
-Communities would have more money to support local businesses
-Minimum wage would keep up with the rise of gas prices, food and cost of living
-Minimum wage workers would need less government assistance for survival

Why business owners are NOT for the RAISE?

Matt Mahood clearly shows why. He states:
-Prices for food and gas will rise (They already do without a minimum wage increase)
-Businesses will lay off workers to be able to pay the minimum wage
-People who make about $10 an hour right now will ask for a pay increase

The prices of gas, food and health care have risen over the past four years while the wages of the state’s lowest paid workers haven’t budged. An eroding minimum wage and the ongoing weak recovery have made it increasingly difficult for families to make ends meet.

If the Food, Gasoline, Rent, Education...and COST OF LIVING is increasing, why not the minimum wage??? San Jose has to chance to raise their minimum wage from $8 to $10. VOTE on November 6th!!
(Thank you Ulisa Kisling for your words)
